As I'm making efforts to sell the carnival coupons
I see a very sad fact of Singaporean teens I don't deny that I too am such a teen but I'll learn to slowly change with the help of such lovely people around me and I start to wonder if we ever had a circus action 4 - 热血巴士 will it ever be a success Just how many people will sign up for this show with 4 guys doing crazy stuff but not that famous at all they probably wouldn't meet their quota. There were people who quit their jobs just for the show. who would do that here? no job = no money no one wouldn't want money Even birthday celebrations are not as exciting as how others will plan it and people are stingy with birthday presents at times (like come on.They don't even pay class funds for the notes they use) I envy my friends in Taiwan everyday's so fun. Sadded by this fact One is never too busy if one cares enough you know! But then again there's those lovely few who would squeeze out their time to make a difference I admire them a lot. 总有一天 我们会用热血 来改变全世界 |

I would feel so heartened every time I see the edit of this video on TV it's like no matter how much you talk to people no matter what you do for them they never do understand why or how important it is to have the sounds you've prepared to them People just think that what you see (a.k.a lights) is the most important thing of all. Think again. Let's try it someday yeah? if people don't respect us AGAIN. we can try having 3 shows without sounds I don't see a problem lah. |

Regarding the issue of changing the weightage of Mother Tongue Language for PSLE
I think it all boils down to what we want to achieve out of the education system. I am more prone to keeping the current weightage well because I am from a Chinese speaking family and my Chinese had always been better than English This is kind of like different for most children now since more young parents are English educated (unlike both my parents who were Chinese educated) statistics show that six out of ten primary school kids come from English speaking family O.o If we were to drop the weightage now it'll be very likely that the importance of the subject will drop even more and soon Singapore will become so angmoh Some parents who are agreeable to the change of weightage argued that their children are struggling with the subject and it prevents their children, who excel in other subjects, to get a place in a good secondary school Personally I think that this is not likely to happen. I mean if the child is generally clever, he/she could have grasped any subjects just as good including Mother Tongue and language is totally something that you can learn once you put your heart into it it isn't like Maths or Sciences that require you to learn some concepts that some may find hard to comprehend however language is like a form of communication you just have to understand what the words mean and how to construct your sentences So if a child has the brain capacity to comprehend Maths and Science concepts I see no problem in the child having to learn a language that's relatively new to the child. it's mainly a problem of whether the child is putting enough effort. So people OPEN YOUR EYES AND FIND THE ROOT PROBLEM It's the attitude not the system. BTW I wanted to find a song to fit this post But uh I realised almost all songs are like love songs so hard to even find a 'friendship' song luh. |

I came online
with the thought of wanting to blog about the 'hottest' topic of town regarding the changing of the weightage of Mother Tongue Language in PSLE I digressed unfortunately so... let me introduce this song before I go on to talk about what I had wanted to type. I've heard this song some time ago But I didn't realise that it was written by them! haha so cool. I really 佩服 them it's like that just wanted to start a band then went for lessons (like learn from scratch) and they are now artistes! So really amazing lah I didn't even have the perseverance to finish my guitar lessons luh hurhur. I especially like the part where they sang '我和你打勾勾 说好一起加油 这一幕好像在哪 出现过 抬起头 大步走 走到十字路口 这一次梦想不能 被没收' These may not be the best lyrics not the music an artiste can do but their efforts are worth praising chasing your dreams that you had in your youth even in your mid20s How many people actually do that? Btw watching guitar concert yesterday phd finally settled in yes very long say about one month after the show but it got me finally |
