Regarding birthday parties

Every time I receive a facebook invite to an event
I make sure to check the invite guest list in case I accidentally reveal the event to people whom the host had not invited
I don't know why there are people who cannot do that
and now I have more guests than I intended to have
I wanted it to be a small event and am intending to write letters to all who are coming
because they are the ones who have impacted my life
I'm sorry but I dunno what to write to these additional people.
