If this was a drama, it would be a genre of drama that I like
actually I didn't know I liked this genre until I began watching 敗犬女王
where 單無雙 was a really strong woman
She didn't need to be protected
wasn't small and cutesy
and definitely not looking for her hero while acting all tough
then 盧卡斯 comes along and tell her he knows she's a woman
and she doesn't need to be strong

BAM
it just hit me right there and I loved the show
I'm kind of getting sick of stories where the girl is the damsel in distress and then the main guy comes along, be her hero and then she falls in love with him
and story lines about say... overweight people finding true love isn't that appealing to me also
I mean yes it's different from the typical female lead who's small and cute, possibly bubbly character.
But then somehow it doesn't feel so real
To me it seemed like there are more woman acting strong and people not recognising them as woman (which is kind of sad)
so I really really love it when someone points out to these ladies that 'hey, you're still a girl no matter how strong you act'
too aw-y-fying for me.

I hope I can find the guy who tells me I'm a girl
and that I don't need to be strong

Cos I've been telling my friends all the time that guys and girls can never be friends
at some time the guy might fall for the girl, or the girl might fall for the guy
Sometimes they fall in love at the same time
but most of the time they just don't end up as a couple

I realised I have this love for shows that don't exactly have a happy ending
for romance that is
There are times when I feel that the main leads need to get together
but sometimes it's better if they didn't

Sometimes I would think to myself
now that this couple in the show has gotten together, what makes you think that probably 1 or 2 years down the character's lives, they won't fall out of love (especially when it's unconvincing when the couple gets together)
So I really love the open ended ones
because I think that's much more possible in life
Your crush might not know you liked him/her for their entire lives you know
Life may not be that awesome as to let you be with the one you love

That's why I really really liked Niji no Megami ~rainbow song
Especially when he went to her house and read the love letter he once asked her to write (it was to be given to another girl he liked then)
and at the back of the letter it says:

根性ないところが好き
一人じゃ何もできないところが好き

I love your indecisiveness

I don't mean I like sad endings, like some cancer patient dies
but I like the open-endedness of what could have been.
and like when you finally know how a certain character feels really, it makes you go back to the start of the story and think
oh yeah, that's why those things happened.
I absolutely love those

Same for mystery/suspense/thriller stories
I love it when they don't tell me everything at the end but let me think of what could have happened

I would totally have not minded at all if at the end of In Time With You, Li Da Ren and Cheng You Qing did not end up together
I mean I really hope they would (and gosh the friends to lovers thing gets to me too)
But I like the beauty of it not being the so called "happy ending"

cos it feels so sad and empty
but grah the new PV for Kis-My-Ft2 is too much okay

I see many people comparing them to NEWS
and yes I do feel it too
all the time the spotlight was on Yamapi, Ryo and occasionally Tegoshi
But seriously the others are part of NEWS too you know!
They're really awesome people with talents
why must they be treated this way
I thought it was bad enough (luckily it got better after the suspension)

But no Johnny's thinks they were nice enough to NEWS already
cos they gave shit to Kis-My-Ft2
what's with the super obvious division between the 3 and the 4?
and then the 4 people (Miyacchi, Senga, Nika, Watta) were given really plain clothes that made them look like
and they dun even get to sing in the verse AT ALL
What kind of shit is this Johnny's Entertainment?
At least the boys in NEWS had similar clothes, enough screen time for everyone and had their own parts in the verse (even though it was more like Yamapi-Takahiro-Ryo+Uchi-Tegomass-KKKitty, it was still better than Kis-My-Ft2)

Gosh it's no wonder you guys are slowly losing your sales
and losing out to the Korean stars (like say SM entertainment)

Thoughts on We Got Married

Been watching the very first batch of WGM couples (Ansol, Lettuce, Alshin, Ant)
realised why they were so attractive
cos they were so real
like when Ansol confessed that they were gonna start to have feelings for each other they decided to quit the show together
and then all the awkward moments with Lettuce couple and Dog poopie couple (this 2 didn't have skinship until their last episode)
makes it seem more real

like that Khuntoria zomg.
they were so freaking polite with one another I couldn't continue watching at all
they were like... filming a drama.
I didn't dislike Khuntoria to start with so I got myself to watch a few episodes of them
and I really really couldn't tahan them so I stopped.

Caramel couple was nice though
like you can see how Uee and Park Jae Jung opened up to each other
and the KwonOh couple (David Oh was lol. totally loving the girl)

I've just recently bought Kis-My-Ft2's Everybody Go single
because I was thinking of getting it together with the Hong Kong version of the concert DVD from Yesasia but I realised that they're not selling it
so I asked my sis to get the single from HMV
Funny how many limited edition singles are left.

Then I have 3 albums which I'm thinking of buying

Awesome album (to me XD)

JE regular editions have.... nothing much special other than bonus tracks.
but the price is like jaw dropping
the regular edition is like $54?
I can buy a JE concert DVD taiwan version and get some change back.
and the super expensive ($110) special box edition is SOLD OUT on yesasia.
crazy fans. I shall just look at scans when the album is released.

4. Kis-My-Ft2 concert DVD
This one I also dunno shld buy or not leh
Not too much of a big fan of kissumai yet

I was watching the old episodes of Adam couple on WGM last week
the front part which I didn't watch before
Saw Ga-in singing 'I already have a man' to JYP.
I thought it sounded really nice and went to google the song
and found that Ga-in sang it on a music program.
I thought it was some proclaim her love for Jokwon song because some fan site was saying how to expresses Ga-in's feelings (she changed the word man to Jokwonie) for Jokwon or something (maybe I misread)
But I saw the chinese translated lyrics
and it's about this girl who has a boyfriend but can't help but develop feelings for another guy.
Lol how is that about Adam couple

It was really apt when she sang it to JYP though
cos she visited him as Jokwon's 'wife' but she's a huge fan of JYP.

Putting aside the weirdness of the lyrics (like how did someone write a love song about liking another guy? He/she should make friends with 黄伟文)
the version by Ga-in is really nice
The original by JYP is good too and I especially love the guitar

I've watched him a few times but I only knew who he was in 49 Days. (he was good in that show btw.)

Initially I didn't want to watch
cos there's so many datelines ahead and exams are really near
But then I took a peek at episode 1 and couldn't stop.

It's a rom-com
and a really funny one unlike Zenkai Girl. (Don't mistake me. I like Ryo and a bit of Aragaki Yui. It was the script that spoilt it.)
and yes before it was mentioned on Dramabeans, I didn't realise it's similarities to Biscuit Teacher Star Candy.
My sis and I used to watch BTSC
and I think my sis fell in love with Gong Yoo ever since (But coffee prince got her addicted)
I remember the series not being bad so Flower Boy Ramyun Shop should be good too!

At the end of episode 2,
in my mind I was like 'Come on just date her already'
and imagine me watching it in my hall room while my roomie was sleeping
had to resist the urge to lol.

Definitely a good watch though I'm more hooked to In Time With You (scripting + cinematography + acting were all damn awesome. I kind of forgot Chen Bolin is Chen Bolin and not Li Da Ren. And then I can never picture Ariel Lin as Ariel Lin whenever she's in a drama. Awesome actors.)

Since I love this show to bits
and... this is the 3rd time I'm watching this episode
I've decided to do a dramabeans like recap on this ep!
Hopefully I can get it done.
HAHA.
Major cut outs for the parts with the high pitched voice lady.

I don't intend to start with a song every episode just as dramabeans does it
but this song was really nice!

洪佩瑜 - 踮起腳尖愛

So the episode starts off with Nic and 又青 bringing back shoes (I supposed it's to the headquarters)
and 又青's phone rings
It's her high school classmate who recently just got a divorce
又青 goes to console her on the matter.

At work, there's a huge store sale of the shoes, and the scene is totally chaotic.
又青's OS over the scene talks about life is full of war, be it for men or shoes, that it may just be for pride but is it worth winning the war?

Over at 李大仁's side, he has recently gotten a promotion and would not need to work behind the check in counters anymore.
Despite the promotion, 大仁 doesn't look happy. His colleagues guess that it's because he'll be separated with high pitch voice girl (sorry I can't remember her name) therefore he's sad.

But as his colleague leaves, guess who he calls to talk to?

It's end of the mega sales for 又青 at her day of work. She thanks Nic for his help in lightening her workload, allowing them to end early on that day. Having worn high heels for a long period of time, her feet feels uncomfortable.
Here comes Nic's aw-y-fying moment #1, he turns up later at the venue with a new pair of slippers for her. He even knows her shoe size.

Next morning, Nic gives a wake up call to 又青 reminding her of a meeting later on. 又青 feels pampered and continues to ponder about Nic's actions, whether she should read more into it. She attempts to call 大仁 (I presume to consult him on this matter) but he's currently busy at the airport. Being unable to talk to him when she needs to, 又青 feels that 大仁 doesn't show her enough care (Girl, you have no idea how much that guy loves you.)

There's some situation at the airport. Due to typhoon warnings, a flight to Hong Kong is delayed to 7pm. Passengers are all complaining and wanting to get to Hong Kong asap. 大仁's team tries to settle the problem.
When everything's done, 大仁 falls asleep and Maggie (high pitch voice girl) comes over with a neck pillow and drink.

At the end of work for 又青, it's raining cats and dogs but she doesn't have an umbrella. She meets her ex boyfriend (Henry)'s current girlfriend (Lala) waiting for Henry to pick her up. Henry offers a ride. 又青 rejects to avoid the awkward situation but at the same time, Nic turns up with an umbrella and brings her away. Nic's aw-y-fying moment #2. She wonders about the meaning behind his actions.

This part I shall just briefly summarise. 又青's elder brother and sister comes home for dinner. As usual, her sister-in-law spills food on herself so she can get free clothes from 又青. The brother comes along and ask 又青 to get 大仁's help in upgrading a seat from economy to business for his mother-in-law who's visiting. Brother and wife leaves house with a lot of free things. Elder sister talks to 又青 about finding the correct man who's rich, has power and is charismatic (which according to 又青 is how the brother-in-law is like). The topic of 又青 and 大仁 is briefly brought up by sister.

At work, Nic stands a little too close to 又青 while she explains to him about writing a chart to organise the shoes. The atmosphere is slightly awkward after Nic leans in a little to comment on her perfume. Her phone rings and she takes the chance to leave the room and answer the call. It's 大仁 asking her out for dinner that night.

Over dinner, 又青 talks to 大仁 about Nic. This is so amusing. As 又青 talks about the umbrella incident like it's some really big thing, 大仁's all like "So what about the incident?"

She explains that his actions are making her heart beat faster. 大仁 suggest she use her brain to analyse the situation rather than just following her heart if she's worried. 又青 says she did analyse the situation, but she doesn't understand if Nic is just treating her as a superior or a woman. 大仁 wonders why she's fretting so much since they've only known each other for a month or so.

又青 : 可是有時候愛情就是一個moment的問題錯過了就沒有了

大仁 remains unconvinced, asking her to state what was the 'moment' between her and her ex-es. Most of them are kind of on the surface stuff like 'he has a nice hand; he was straight forward in asking me out' etc. Since 又青 entered each relationship after finding that moment but every one of the relationship ended, should she still believe in that moment. 又青 retorts that 大仁 is the same, sticking to his same tactic when it comes to dating.

又青 realises that everytime she's in love, 大仁 is single and while she's single, he's attached. Talk about 'Timing is everything'. 大仁 comments that it's no wonder why they never end up together *cues music and awkard looks*

Chef comes over with 2 bowls of complementary herbs noodle (well it says 山藥 so I assume it's herbs?) which 又青 dislikes. 大仁 goes on to "save" her by eating her share.

Call comes! It's Maggie looking for 大仁. He mentions about being with a friend and it might not be convenient but she tries to make him agree with letting her come. 又青 disturbs the convo by going all "大仁哥~~", like how a typical good friend disturbs your phone calls. Lol.

So Maggie turns up at the Japanese restaurant that 又青 and 大仁 was at. She addresses 又青 as 又青姐 and mentions that 大仁 talks about her. 又青 glares at 大仁 and asked him whether he published a declaration on the newspaper about calling her 又青姐 (Inside joke between friends from episode 2).

The three settle down for food. Since the two have already eaten, only Maggie eats. She ask them not to bother about her and continue talking between the 2 of them. So they go on to talk about their friends' failed marriages and whether they should continue to strive towards marriage. But, as irritating as she is, she butts in every now and then during their conversation, asking if they want food, feeding 大仁 and asking about their friends. Woman, you've just reached another level of being irritating.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a joke about You're Beautiful?

又青 gets pissed off seeing Maggie leaning on 大仁 and excuses herself to the toilet, where she talks to herself about the situation before her eyes. She remembers about Nic saying that she can ask him to save her.

大仁 pays for the meal which is around NTD$5000. I love how the reaction for the 2 ladies differ. 又青 is all 'Thanks.' while Maggie feels that she spent too much and wanna treat 大仁 next time.

While 大仁 tries to convince 又青 that he can send Maggie home first then her, Nic arrives. Nic's aw-y-fying moment #3. Gotta love the looks 大仁 gives Nic.

When alone, 又青 apologises to Nic for asking him out so suddenly. He repeats that she can ask for his help any time. 又青 mentions about not travelling overseas for leisure purposes for over a year already. Nic suggests that they can go on a trip together. She then asks if Nic has always been so nice to his superiors, fulfilling all their requests and if it's a good thing to do so. Nic replies that he might not know if it's good or bad, but he's happy to receive her calls. He'll feel feel hurt if she pays him for what he does.

At Maggie's apartment, a burglary occurred in her neighbour's house. 大仁 follows Maggie up to her house and prepares to leave after she's checked everything. She proceeds to give him a 'I'm scared' face, so 大仁 stays for the night. She even offers the bed to him (like... sleep together) which he rejects.

They talk about him always making the girl take initiative so is it that he's gay. Oh holy, girl proceeds to kiss him and lie beside him after being assured that he isn't gay.

又青's call comes at the right moment when 大仁's confused about how he should react to Maggie's feelings. She called to tell him about her thoughts on Maggie, that she thinks Maggie is good for him. 又青 finds out from 大仁 that the girl had chased after 大仁 instead of him wooing the girl, which makes her unhappy because she thinks he's bragging to her. The topic changes to Nic and 大仁 says he doesn't have any comments other than how 又青 had described Nic since he didn't get to interact with Nic.

She asks about how are things going on between him and Maggie, which is when 又青 finds out he's at Maggie's house. 又青 gets pissed off and hangs up. Aw girl, you and your feelings.

After 大仁 leaves Maggie's home, Maggie takes out the frame she's been trying to hide from 大仁. It's a list of qualities that she hopes to find in her ideal guy. I kind of agree with the qualities listed (minus the last one) but dude, writing them down and framing it up is just creepy.

大仁's sister barges into the toilet while he's brushing his teeth, asking him to sponsor some money for her motorcycle. She infers that 大仁 is dating now since he spent the night out.

又青 walks in to work, where Henry and Lala are making out. Henry goes on to give 又青 a piece of his mind about Nic.

The general manager calls for 又青, who brings all her medicated oil over. GM complains to 又青 about another colleague who had quit all of a sudden. 又青 says that for a single lady like her, she is already finding the job hard to handle, needless to say for the colleague who had children.

大仁 wonders about his relationship with Maggie, recalling his sister's words that it's awful for a guy to be in a relationship with a girl but do not love her. Maggie then rushes in crying about her mum being in a car accident, and he loses his chance to sort things out with her. 大仁 sends her off to the hospital to look after her mum while he takes over her work.

At work, GM asks 又青 to go Taichung for work and she rejects the GM's idea of bringing Nic along. In the toilet, 又青 overhears other colleagues gossiping about her and Nic. With that, her fighting spirit is spurred and she asks Nic to go on the work trip with her.

At home, 又青 packs for her trip, comtemplating whether to bring her sexy lingerie. 大仁 calls 又青 out and the two sit down for a chat with beer. 大仁 says he's convinced about 又青's 'moment' theory, that if a person loses the moment to reject another, he'll have no choice but to fall in love with the girl. And so, he declares that he's gonna start dating soon!

又青 then informs 大仁 about her work trip with Nic. 大仁 tells her to confirm Nic's feelings for her before falling in love with him.

In Taichung, 又青 reprimands the sales girls for poor sales of their shoes. She's left her handbag at the counter due to her anger, which Nic retrieves for her in the rain, along with a cup of hot coffee. Nic's aw-y-fying moment #4.

After they finish their work, Nic brings 又青 to the night market for food. He holds her hands with the excuse of possibly losing her in the crowd and offers to pay for her food.

Nic : 現在下班了你不是老闆而我是男人。

AWWWW X100.

Nic expresses that he feels happy whenever he's with 又青. With that, 又青 concludes to herself that Nic treats her more than just a superior. But she finds it weird for a young guy like him to like her, so she asks if he lacks motherly love. LMAO.

But he's not lacking in that area. In fact he has a doting mother and 2 lovely elder sisters. He just feels some sort of happiness whenever he's with 又青 *cues heart melt*

Back at the hotel, Nic invites 又青 over to his room for some whiskey. Hilariously, this girl goes back to her room to change into sexy lingerie. LOL

Over whiskey, 又青 asks why Nic doesn't call her 又青姐 as how other people younger than her does. He replies that to him, she's a girl who needs to be protected despite her strong appearance. OH DARN. MELTED. Then he goes to say he wants to protect her. GRAHHH. brain malfunction.

The door bell rings and man barges in, asking why Nic hasn't been answering his calls. Okay you and I should know what happens next. Dearest Nic is GAY. I was practically LMAO-ing so hard on my bed. And it was like 2am? when I watched it for the first time.

Devastated 又青 runs out and cries, roaming around aimlessly. She calls 大仁 to vent out her frustration.

大仁 suddenly appears at her hotel room door!!! sahjbvthoptlesmn. 大仁 DAEBAK.

Comments
It's the third episode of the show, so far the pace is nice and all. Nic being gay is just super hilarious. Why couldn't they make Geol Oh gay in SKK Scandal. 李大仁 is such a good friend and would make an even better boyfriend.

The crying scene of Ariel Lin had me tearing up too. Yes, she has that amazing ability to make people feel her character's emotions. Just like in They Kiss Again, her crying scene made me tear up soon. Plus the nice cinematography and all <3

Maybe I'm a little bias with my love for this show cos I love Ariel Lin, Chen Bolin and the director (he made It Started with a Kiss and They Kiss Again). But the actors are showing really good chemistry there. They have this ability to make me believe that they have actually lived as their characters and have been friends for 14 years. Like they bicker so naturally! And the small little talks between them are like just how friends behave. It's only during the behind the scenes video that you realise these people have only met for a while just to film this show.

This is a little spoiler for the future episodes. I just saw the video for the 首映會 and it seems like we'll have much more angst coming up. Probably only giving us a little lovey-dovey time in the last 2 episodes. Just like It Started with a Kiss. So sad! The two actors look so nice together.

It goes from 9 to 8 to 6 then 4.

Came online and found this piece of news

NEWS (Japanese boyband) now has only 4 members. Yamashita Tomohisa and Ryo Nishikido has decided to quit.
This is their decision so I have nothing much to say?
I kind of understand Ryo's situation bah
being in 2 groups and all
and how he mentioned on Shounen Club Premium about... being slightly more attached for Kanjani 8 since they've been together for quite some time already.

As for Yamapi
I don't actually know how much of this is his own decision or the company's decision
I still remember him saying how he felt so awkward having solo activities during the suspension period after Kusano's case
it was then he realised how great the other members were
and loved group activities > solo activities
So now saying that he want to quit NEWS for solo activities
I don't quite buy it luh.
Like just when they finally got a but closer.

Oh yeah I noe this sounds not very nice lah
but like I've always said
It's NEWS that made Yamapi who he is now.
The exposure from NEWS actually made him popular as a solo artiste.
He wouldn't have made it without NEWS
which I'm glad he does realise.
Unlike certain fans who forever claim that Yamapi will do loads better without NEWS.

I still remember Shige's Shounen Club Premium episode
when he said how he and Koyama felt during the suspension period.
Since everyone else still had other solo/group activities, the 2 of them were the only ones who didn't have anything
so they were thinking what would happen if the suspension was not lifted.

On their 8th year anniversary, I was thinking if it's possible to celebrate their 10th year in Singapore with a concert

I beg to differ
I'm a huge fan of Koyashige but I love Ryo just as much. I even started watching Kanjani8 cos of him.
My sis is a Koyashige fan too! (she started out from K.K.Kitty loooooong time ago.) But she too loves Ryo.
I think there are plenty of fans out there who are like this too.
Ah but. I think Tegomass fans are more... on their own as compared to the other fans.
And although I love Koyashige
each one of them just don't feel right when they're not with the others.
Ryo is fine I guess
Yamapi starts talking boringly
Shige becomes awkward
Koyama becomes too noisy
Masuda becomes weird
Tegoshi becomes irritating
But when they're all together it's just alright.
I must emphasize
although I love Koyashige, it feels weird with just the 2 of them!
They need a little bit of poison tongue from Ryo, a bit of leader talk from Yamapi, a bit of love from Masuda and a bit of KY from Tegoshi to make them interesting enough.

Then they are people saying NEWS is trying too hard to stay as one
trying too hard to foster member-love
Let's just say you haven't watched enough Shounen Club premium or read enough Koyama no member-ai or Photoshigenic or Aoi Hitorigoto or Yamapi's Jweb.
Or just you haven't read enough cross talks on magazines (I love cross talks more than individual interviews)
Yes you might think most things are scripted
but at least for Shige's essays I think they're truthful enough.
and you'll be shocked by what they said on Shounen Club Premium
at least I was shocked
because I thought JE wouldn't allow some of the info on the show since it doesn't reflect well on the group.
But they did and I love them for speaking up.

So don't write these kind of biased comments before you've even tried reading enough.

Episode 2 of In Time With You just got more awesome than the previous episode
In terms of plot I don't think much has happened
but character development and metaphors in the show are just great

Before I proceed
! Spoiler Alert !
Please don't read if you want to watch it yourself.

So my favourite moments of the show

Where do you find a person you can call at night just because you wanted to talk
so nice!

And then there's one scene when 程又青 was on leave at home
and surprise surprise
李大仁 was on leave too
So he went to her house to help her mum with Facebook
Then 又青 wakes up at 2pm and comes down

So he stares at her just woken up face
her bedroom hair
still being in pyjamas
and smiles at the image like she's so beautiful
<3 李大仁 is awesome boyfriend material for 又青 please
And after all that he goes shopping at the supermarket with her
just because her mum needs some grocery

For the first time in this show
we catch a glimpse of how 又青 feels about 李大仁
We know now that it's actually kind of mutual (but she's more of in denial of her feelings)

This sequence was great
it was a play within the show
which kind of reflected the situation between 又青 and 李大仁
The 2 actors in the play was great
the mood was great
the plot was kind of good I guess since we only saw 2 scenes
the prop was fabulous
While watching this part I was thinking if I could just go back to the days of 黃城 and make it better =/

On a more random note
李大仁 teared a little while watching the play

Feeling empty after the show
he called up 又青 and went to her house for dinner.

程爸 sits down to talk to 李大仁 about getting a girlfriend and that "timing is everything"

又青's parents are so adorable!!!

Awwww 又青 picking out spring onions for 大仁 just because he doesn't eat them

I love how the camera zooms in on the audience seats
and we see that the scene is actually a reflection how she feels about her and 大仁
Like she wanted to try for something but she's afraid of losing him.
And aw she went to watch it after 大仁 told her the play was great

I teared up watching this scene
it was so pretty <3 So yeah that's about it! I can't be bothered about what happens next. lol. I wanted to find a song to accompany this post but then there isn't anything that comes to mind that describes 大仁 and 又青 I once read on a friend's blog that people are more concerned about whether a couple is together or has fallen out of love they tend to miss the stage in between the 曖昧階段 I agree. Most songs out there are about being in love or breaking up hardly have any songs about the stage in between So I thought this mood was the best to go with this post

just reminds me how nice it is for a best friend turn into lovers relationship

Where do I find a 李大仁？
He's so awesomely sweet and nice

So far I love the show
cinematography, how the characters are shaped, sound, how ideas are portrayed etc.

When I first heard that Tamamori and Fujigaya were acting in the drama,
I was already wondering if they would make Miyacchi act as Yuki!

And people
stop being stunned luh.
Miyacchi has his own charm kay.
I kind of like his otaku dance and キモイ男は美しい

And I like how he's actually clever but isn't eager to show it.
This guy totally knows how to market himself.

When will you ever change

I'm kind of pissed off by my sister today
okay actually it's accumulated for quite some time already
It's been 2 months since she graduated (3 months since she stopped going to school)
but she still hasn't found a job

While she was slacking her butt off at home
She couldn't even go buy shampoo!
I didn't noe that the shampoo was entirely emptied (while there was still some when I left for hall)
and walked into the toilet, rinse my head and then realise there's no shampoo in my toilet

I'm not pissed off for just that single act
More like why can't she act her age
she's 23 this year btw and can't buy shampoo

And also because of the way she judges me
The time when I finally moved into my hall
I needed to buy my toiletries so I didn't have enough hands to bring all my stuff over to the hall
hence I asked for her help
And then she began nagging me that I need to carry my own stuff
since choosing to stay in the hall means I am learning to be independent.
SO WHY CANT AN INDEPENDENT LADY AT AGE 23 BUY HER OWN SHAMPO?!?!

and then everytime I forget to throw away my old toothbrush for ONE night
she scolds me the next morning.
But she NEVER clears the empty bottles in the toilet.
Okay maybe once or twice in her life
And she loves coming to tell me that I need to clear the bottles!
Like hello. You don't use them and you don't have hands to clear them right?

Every time I tell her something like that
she will argue that she never did that
and asks me to point out a specific time and date when she did it
But I can't remember it
So the next time she does it again I remember the details
and then use it to counter her
But then she calls me a petty person for remembering such details
WAT IS THISSSSSS
I no longer know how to live properly with this person around.

ARGH so pissed off
even my dad is slightly unhappy
He's like usually happy and peaceful
but the other day I asked him how he felt about my sis lazing at home everyday
he actually felt angry

At first he was like 'Nevermind lah. let your sister enjoy first before getting a job.'
So I said okay. But the earliest she'll ever get a job is by the end of this year. I can bet you that.

Day 12: Your Favorite Story
Hmm
I have quite a few dramas I liked
Nobuta wo Produce left the deepest impression though.

What I like about the drama
well it's a high school drama not about high school students
like normally high school dramas either have supreme elite students are really bad students
But Nobuta wo Produce is about normal people
and it's a society shrunk into the grounds of a school

Like the problems Shuuji faced are actual problems in the world
and not some high school person's worry
I particularly liked how his popularity entirely crashed of rather lame but possible reasons
and then he confesses dating the most popular girl just because she was popular
and how he felt he was the only adult in a school of kids

I liked Kusano Akira too
<3 how they gave him a side story of being a rich kid
to show that this guy has thoughts and is not a lunatic like how Shuuji used to think he was

Kotani was like one of Maki's best character (and so was Kusano Akira for Yamapi)
I liked how she sort of changed but did not change
I almost teared when she finally smiled on the roof in the last episode

I also liked the short little stories they had with Shuuji's family at the start of each episode
like I rmb one where they thought the mum died in a plane crash but she didn't
and then one was the dad talking about what's true friendship
like if your friend came to you with a luggage saying he killed a person and the corpse is now in the luggage,
as a friend you should listen to his entire story before deciding to call the police.
(and then Yamapi turns up at Shuuji's house with a luggage. lol.)
And then there was one where the mum wasnted to buy them this friendship charm so she asked the boys and their dad how many true friends they have
and then you see the struggle in Shuuji thinking who's his friend and he finally says 2 when the mum says the line was gonna be cut.
Still got one where Shuuji's brother fell asleep on his essay
and Shuuji read the essay which was about him.

Only good dramas can leave a deep impression like this
I really loved it and I rewatched it so many times

Other than this I thought Love Shuffle had quite a nice theme (and lovely actors/actresses).
Hotaru and Bloody Monday wasn't bad either but some parts got boring
Last Friends was good.

Lessons have been.. slightly understandable so far
though I'm dreading Basic Media Writing
it's like LA/GP all over again =(
Creative writing which I can't do.

Digital Electronics and Computing are still enjoyable so far
and art lesson today was good!

exercise everyday
I'm serious
despite my bad habit of drinking sweetened drinks between meals and eating supper (sometimes)
I lost a little bit of weight
so living on the 6th floor has its benefits too!

This is something I've been thinking for a long time
just as mentioned in Nobuta wo Produce and Mawang
It is impossible to know the real truth or the whole truth

You can only choose to believe that what you know is the truth and only the truth

Therefore I believe whoever speaks up first, will eventually be presenting the "truth"
Whether it is the real truth no one knows,
but once the first person speaks up,
it changes and affects the perspective of the bystanders to side with them
and therefore making their words the truth.

I shall master the art of speaking up first
Before anything happens
learn to complain that I was wronged.

Back from UOC'11!
SHAGGED MAN.
I totally nuaed on the train
when I came back from Insinyur I could still gossip with no. 8 on the train
and then walk back home from the MRT station
Today damn cui.

Camp was fun
but as I've told some people, I thought Insinyur was better
Not comparing the games or programmes lah
More like the atmosphere in Insinyur suits me more =D
I felt... more at ease talking to people in Insinyur
the family family feel

Precamp
we... played the normal name introduction games
then at night was team bonding games
like the first game from Insinyur amazing race and trust fall.
and then night walk, sort of mini initiation without the dirty stuff

Day 1 was.......... zomg I cant rmb
OH right. Field games
There was a slippery slope thing so I was thinking they were gonna make us do the Hwachong orientation slippery slope
but nah it was human ladder up the slippery slope.
Then awesome me sprained my right ankle AGAIN
Nth time spraining it that I feel so neutral about the pain =/
At night was initiation.
Didn't get to play it during Insinyur cos campus security came
so this is my first time going for it
not too bad
nothing too scary
quite smelly but still fine I guess
The other OGs from Insinyur looked like they were in a worse state then

Day 2 was pool games
Cant kick water so I didnt play
I MISSED THE DIVING POOL THINGY
Why doesn't Insinyur have that =(
It looks damn fun pls.
Then I met dearest See Yishu in school.

Ah Bel saw her at Sports Camp and was wondering why she looks so familiar
while Li Rong was the photographer for my sis' group

After that went to change my password at CTIS cos I forgot what password I changed to and couldn't matriculate =/
Then nuaing time before returning to the group.

At night was OG dinner plus clubbing
first time clubbing
ER just bounce throughout the entire thing loh
Not my kind of thing to do lah
I rather drink + sing

We also had the pageant introduction at Zouk
Candice and Andrew (from Insinyur too! Archangel) represented our group Valent
While Tyler represented his group Ketta!

Day 3 was Beach games
MY FAVOURITE
Sun Sand Sea!
Just like Popeye, Valent (My OG) owns at beach games
Too bad they dun have the credits system so there wasn't the extra enjoyment of dunking people you don't even noe
But it was a good way to noe who's in ur main comm.

At night was... candle fight
random game where you have to keep the fire on your candle burning
then go to the other group's territory and light up sparkles
we lost our first game so we didn't need to play any more
went to some random spot to play freeze and melt
then.. things happened.

Day 4 was SP Day
morning tekan session for the guys
then went out for lunch at Marche plus Captain America movie
My SP didnt choose me cos he said we'll see each other at hall camp
Guess what Joshua,
I didn't get into hall camp!

Day 5 was Amazing Race
Mega chiong
my healing ankle swelled up again =(
had fun though
somehow...
still prefer Insinyur's amazing race though!
more laxing + bonding time

So my thoughts about camp
yesyes as seen above I'm biased towards Insinyur
Like Davina said it may be because it's my first camp
but like I told Wai Kit it's more of the people I met
Let's just say people in Insinyur has a higher chance of becoming my best friends
I can talk to them better loh I guess
On my card people wrote that I should have more confidence and talk to the guys
I'm not some shy person lah. Please ask Shiying and Peizhen
it's just I can't find anything to talk to these people about.
They don't talk nonsense like how I talk to S6B or Pengyou.
And on top of that these people kind of know at least one other person before the camp
so it's harder to mix around (and it's also the reason why I'm so glad the girls in S6B dunno each other before school started)

Many times during the first 2 days of the camp I was talking to pengyou I wanted to break camp
but well I endured hoping it'll be better.
It got a little better but not as good as I hoped

Regarding Wei Wen leaving camp
I absolutely disagree that it's just because of his introverted character
I mean well yes he's not a very sociable person
But it doesnt mean if he doesnt start the conversation someone else cant talk to him first right?
I talked to him on Day 1 of camp
and we talked for quite a while
He's a person whom you can talk to once you start a topic but most people missed that
it's especially pissfying when even the seniors miss that

So there like I told pengyou and Wai Kit
Insinyur puts more into bonding people than competition in games
which allowed me to make friends and made me love the camp loads.

I have loads more to say about UOC but I think seniors will defend themselves and everyone will just become unhappy
So I'll just keep it to myself

Oh yeah I kept smsing during the camp right?
and the people think I'm smsing some guy and turning Amber soon
But seriously it was just pengyous.
If not for the 2 of them giving me moral support all the way in such a situation
I would have just gone home on the 2nd day of camp.
Yes it was that bad.

Feeling so depressed over hall stuff
DAMN.
I miss having nothing to think about and just nuaing at class benches.
Thanks Popeyians who comforted me about the matter

Camp Insinyur 2011

Yeah told mini I write this so she can prepare for her NBS camp
7days went pass fast enough but I'm not really tired though
Haha. Weird.

So Day 1 was... getting to know people + know your campus + fright night
They had fake freshies planted amongst us and we got cheated. mehs.
The know your campus games were... normal I guess?
Typical group bonding games
We were made to watch Insidious before Fright Night but there wasn't the effect on me lah
like... since Insidious was more about devils
different genre from fright night
and we know those inside were people
I'm thinking the people acting during Fright Night will be more scared if something happens
Cos we'll think they acted it out
but they know they're not the ones who did it
Haha. random thoughts.
So not so scary I guess?
If you can tahan 'scream' this is nothing lah
just bear with the screaming and shouting into your ears.

Day 2... was what again?
Pool games?
Yup just having fun in the water in the morn
then afternoon was slightly dirty games
just heck care about cleanliness or winning and play lah
more fun.
At night was SP night
Blindfolded and made to talk to 5 guys
I had six plus a prank
I seriously suspect number 6 was a prank too.
Then you'll get to choose the partner you want as your SP
No guarantees that you'll get the person you want lah
I had OG mates who got SP dates whom they never talked to before.
not that you'll remember who you've talked to anyway.
Later on was Initiation
Supposed to get really dirty and smelly but campus security came and it was cancelled.

Day 3... was Battle of the Houses
I suppose you can just take it as HC Orientation lah.
like... fighting for fac shield with a matchmaking element added in?
I didn't play any of the games cos I went for my sis commencement day!
At night was... some cooking game
Supposed to use some points earned during the games to bid for food
Less exciting than 2 Days 1 Night
Then we had to write letters to our SP dates
My OG wrote really random stuff while other groups wrote normal typical stuff

Day 4 was beach games
YEAHYEAHYEAH
me loves beach games
Sun Sand Sea!
Plus we get to dunk people
AWESOME =D
I have a love for getting tanned and playing in/with water
Muahchee was killer
I've never gotten so dizzy in my life before.

At night was campfire
ERM
Sad to say
HC Orientation campfire was way more fun
it makes you wanna go back even as after you've graduated.
We did normal stuff like... mass dance
haha
chicken feet lah. Last time HC had so many mass dances which we had to master during orientation.
Then it was cheer fight, loud cheer and back to chalet to sleep

Day 5 was Amazing Race
Maybe I expected too much?
But it was still fun lah
Had to run around so much
So tiring
then at night was Night cycling
me noobs took the double bike
HAHA
Everyone was so shagged by morning
Thank you to the people who rode the double bike with me!
辛苦了
also Thank you to Yuanhan! The first person to ever ride a double bike with me.
Haha.

After like 2 hours of sleep back at the chalet
Day 6 began
Guys had to be tekan before they got their SP dates
then the couples will go out for dinner and back to SAF Yatch Club for SP Night
Ours was seriously a lot more mild than what I've heard from my friends
and we didn't have clubbing

Stayed up all night playing games and drinking then break camp on day 7!

I suck at summarizing camps but whatever lah
Mini hope it'll help you a little
and relax. People at camp don't bite *hopefully*

This whole camp reminded me of S6B
I miss you people loads and loads
like the games reminded me of CT orientation
random games in school and class flag
where's my war games though?

I used to think 'eeyer why our guys like so like that one'
But after meeting more guys outside
I seriously realise that our class guys are the better ones already

During HTHT on the 2nd night in Hall 10
The guys were like saying some girls were quiet
But dude
it takes 2 hands to clap lah
I must be the one to start a convo with you meh?
which again made me think how much better our class guys were
I think the first guy I talked to was Kok Seng
Like I dunno, we bonded quite naturally during CT orientation
But maybe cos like we've always said, we have 25 guys in class and no girls
or 24 guys plus 1 girl who was Zhuang.
so it was easier to bond

I miss you people LOADS
like seriously ALOT
I miss the days in school =(
Miss the random talks, sleeping in class, nuaing at class bench, eating at high school...

Pretty Scene!
I didn't understand the part where he said he's broken therefore he can't say that he needs her and wants her to stay by his side
but after reading Dramabeans
I finally realised it's because he's gonna die so he doesn't wanna like keep her by his side kind of thing

Ae Jung threw away the pair of sports shoes that Dokko Jin bid back for her
but she was crying and Ding Dong saw it

Ae Jung thought Jae Suk was confessing his love for Jin when he actually only meant that he didn't want Jin to die
and AW for Jae Suk's love for Jin!

Hello hello who decide that Choi Siwon should be Tsuruga Ren?
He doesn't have the aura of Tsuruga Ren at all!
He's kind of like a dark character who has a cute childish side (especially when it comes to love)
The original male lead, Jerry Yan, fits the character so much better!
Of course Oguri Shun would be a better candidate
I can totally imagine him acting as Tsuruga Ren <3<3

On the other hand
after watching the trailer, I thought the guy acting as Fuwa Sho was the right candidate!
The mood between Sho and Kyouko is just right!

But lol lol
The 2 guys from Super Junior-M speaks in Korean but the girl speaks in Chinese AND their characters supposedly can communicate

Let me complete a few at a time XD

Day 02: Your Favorite Male Lead Character

HMMM.
This is hard
Don't really have someone I like in particular?

Okay I'm re-doing this and thinking it through thoroughly

Personally I think I quite like Takeru

I like how he likes the girl but isn't one to pressure the girl into liking him back
it's like 'Hey I love you so much so I'm gonna just always be your support. I don't care if you don't like me but I just want to be by your side'
and yes he did say something like that in one of the episodes when Ruka left the share house (it'll appear under my favourite quotes XD)

Besides liking the main girl, I like how he was a friend to everyone else in the share house
Like how he always cheered Michiru on, how he helped Asami's character
that probably makes him my favourite male lead =D

I totally <3 her
SHE IS SO CUTE PLEASE
And it's quite rare that I don't find such characters irritating
I like how she cared for Chiaki in her own way
and we see her growing up from season 1 all the way to the finale movie

I like Hotaru in Hotaru no Hikari too
I like how she's so blur but firm on her feelings that she likes buchou
and her weird fantansies about marriage
as well as how she's not like a typical girl
like... she doesn't care about her image at home and doesn't try to hide it from buchou at all
That's cute about her =D
and you can't hate her for that.
Oh and at work Hotaru is a very hardworking person too.

I think the best part about her is that... she feels like a mixture of me and my sis XD
I like beer toooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Kusano Akira in Nobuta wo Produce.
I loved the way he sorted out his love for Nobuta
like when he went back to school with Shuji and broadcasted his love for Nobuta over the school's PA system (it was during school holidays)
I loved that scene of Kusano Akira (though I think the episode with his dad is not bad too.)

I also like how he loves Nobuta and Shuji all the same <3

AH and also Osumu Mukai's character in Hotaru no Hikari.
He just makes you go 'awww' with the way he loves Hotaru but he knows her heart is with buchou.
I gave a bit of my heart to him in the episode when there was typhoon but buchou was out on a trip with ex girlfriend
then he went over to Hotaru's house to help out and gave his support to her <3<3

Day 05: Your Favorite Female Third Wheel Character
EH. This is hard.
Basically I don't have a like for such characters. HAHAHA

Day 06: Your Favorite Song from a Jdrama OST
Oh woah I can like make a whole post on this since I listen to alot of OSTs for Huangcheng

HMM for some time I liked a particular song from Sunao ni Narenakute's OST
BUT I have no idea wat it's called cos I can't find the OST anywhere
I think it was played during the opening for episode 4

Then I like the one for Proposal Daisakusen too

My favourite part in episode 9 is the scene when Ae Jung got drunk and Dokko Jin found her

Jin: “You didn’t trust me, did you?”
Ae-jung: “Di’n't trust you.”
Jin: “Then those words about not liking me back — you were really going to cancel them.”
Ae-jung: “…wassss gonna cancel it.”
Jin: “And you brought those potatoes to give to me.”

I love how the conversation flows as if Ae Jung wasn't drunk and the convo makes total sense
It's quite a good scripting technique to explain that Dokko Jin understands what Ae Jung has gone through
which is btw more aw-y-fying than speaking it out plainly
SIGH I was I could script the conversations I wrote for Huangcheng in this way

Dokko Jin asked Ae Jung if he was handsome

Andddd that thing refers to Dokko Jin beating up the old manager for Ae Jung and very possibly giving up his career for her

I'm listening to this Korean band called 'Hot Potato'
It's a 2 man band if I'm not mistaken
and KimC (one of the original 6 from 1 Night 2 Days) is the lead singer

This the first song which I heard
because I watched the hilariously stupid Lovers in Gangchon directed by Lee Seung Gi on his freestyle trip in 1n2d

Something like what Radwimps would sing
So I totally fell in love with it after I heard it once

Other than 1n2d I've been basically watching korean dramas everyday
and my dad watches Best Love with me!
so Tues and Wed there's Lie to Me
Thurs and Fri there's 49 days and Best Love

So 49days is on to their last 2 episodes
the last episode (ep 18) had me sobbing in front of my computer screen cos it was so beautiful and sad at the same time
Like javabeans wrote on Dramabeans
it's those moments between Jihyun and Yikyung that makes the show so much better
It's like the kind of script I've been dreaming of writing but cant materialise my idea
It seriously is very nice
ah episode 18 was kind of rushed though
not so nice editing between scenes.
But the story is love
I've always been a fan of like reaper shows
Not the scary type
but the heartwarming type
Usually in this kind of heartwarming reaper show,
it's the people who are gonna die who have a nice story to tell
So I'm really happy when I realise that Yisoo (the scheduler in the show) bas a story to tell to
It's like making the scheduler part of the show and not a tool to move the show forward
And the way that the two stories between Jihyun/Kang and Yisoo/Yikyung was weaved together was really good
It doesn't feel cliche or forced.
Me likes =D

For a moment there in episode 17
I thought that Jihyun's third tear might come from Yisoo
If it really was it'll be a good twist right?

Finally onto life
boring as usual

Everyday is just 1 Night 2 Days (but it's really niceeee. I like the family feeling episodes in between the episodes when the guys get bullied. haha)

So I'm watching this Japanese drama with the title above
It's about a group of mothers and their kids who are K2 students in the same kindergarten

Was telling my sis that I didn't know kindergarten kids can be so scheming

But hmm maybe they are just that I never met them when I was in kindergarten

The latest episode and the next episode has this part about the children going to tuition for the primary school entrance test
and how the main kid, Kenta, scored better than another kid, Ayaka, even though he entered the tuition class much later

So Ayaka's mum becomes unhappy with Kenta's mum

Kind of reminded me of the time when my mum told me how the mothers of other children in the same primary school as me weren't able to accept the fact that I got into a good school
Because their kid had tuition but I quit in primary 3

Hmm...
so it really does happen eh?

for this final episode they were left alone with all the equipments and no staff at all
and we finally see the amount of luggage the guys bring along with them

It's so awesome and I find new things every time I watch

What I like about this drama...
it's a high school drama that's not built on typical circumstances

Why not NEWS?

Personally, I think yes it's true they lack some crazy element in them as a group
and yes they're trying to pimp Yamapi since it means more money for them

BUT
I prefer them as a group than as an individual
I started out as a NEWS fan in 2007 (heard of them but wasn't really a fan before that)
And to me
I won't give a damn about Yamapi and Ryo if they were not in NEWS
who cares if they're oh-so-famous
Being alone exposes all their flaws (more in the case of Yamapi) and don't exactly help to attract more fans

Maybe I'm the extreme case
HAHA
cos as much as I like Massu's and Tegoshi's voices
I tend to skip their parts in concerts
same goes to Yamapi solos
Cos they just don't sound right being in their little group or being solo.

This is just my view cos some dude there wrote that NEWS has no group dynamics and they're better off as sub-units or solos

And then why ARASHI, HSJ, KATTUN and not NEWS
$$$$
Simple and easy answer

The popularity of ARASHI, HSJ and KATTUN just awes me
it's like you can don't like Jpop at all and still noe one of these groups

But then as my friend told me, these people aren't true fans
they just wanna follow what's trendy
It irks both me and my friend

after I read/watched a very good thing

It's like in my mind it goes 'Ahhh....' and no other words

Just finished reading the entire series of 'After School Nightmare' (manga)
AND IT'S SO NICE ZOMG.

!SPOILER ALERT!

So the story starts out in an absurd world
where students in kokoku high school (named after a bird) attend special lessons after school in which they will enter a dream
and in the dream they will meet other students and erm try to solve their problems
(something like that)
And when they finally solve their problem, they will find a key within the dream and graduate from the school

The main lead is a boy name Ichijou Mashiro (which means pure white)
The problem with him is that he's male above the waist
and female from below the waist
His dilemma lies in whether he wants to live as a guy or a girl

And then the story goes on...
erm don't wish to put too much spoilers here but oh just a bit on the other characters

There's a girl named Kureha
who was raped when she was 5 years old and started hating guys ever since then
But she's fine with Ichijou cos she doesn't find him as a real guy (initially)

and then there's a guy named Sou (it means blue or something??)
who falls in love with Ichijou cos he sees Ichijou as a girl
moments between them are quite hilarious at times
HAHA

Throughout the entire manga
there are many symbolism thingy
like the caged bird (symbolising pregnancy)
and all the names have to do with colours (like Mashiro = pure white, kurosaki has black, Ai and Sou has blue, Haijima has grey)
I didn't actually realised all these though
I read the comments by other readers and went back to check them out

there's a dream in dream in the manga
so cool please

It's kind of funny how the author writes at the end that she began with the idea of wanting to write a true shoujo romance high school manga.

But okay interestingly
as mentioned by one of the readers
this manga explores the theme of what happens before life (erm well the entire story actually happens with the souls of unborn children, when they 'graduate' from the school, they are actually born.)
quite the opposite of how most stories like to explore afterlife
