today F4L outing..go kallang dragon boating =)) not bad sia..fun fun..but my shoe..was as wet as it was during lifeskills camp after river crossing..both oso rivers..
first we gathered..do warm up..wear life jacket n take oar..then get into boat..at there i saw cj n vj ppl..my instructor was alvin i think..no no..should be called uncle alvin..(to noe y..see last paragraph) first we learn to pull water..there r commands like up (point ur oar) , go (start pulling forward), back water (move backwards), easy(stop), hold water (put ur oar into water n try stop boat) n..dunno wat..then we pei yang mo qi..we really dun hav mo qi at first..but then turned out ok lah..i figured out..all instructors like to compete..alvin n his fren..richard yong tang n freddie..hoping for nxt yr lsc..maybe can see yong tang again =))
we stopped to drink water n started chatting wif instructor..he frm sajc de..L1R5 only 14...aiyo...my sis got 11 leh..n is considered bad already lor..my sis go acjc!! he was trying to figure out wat to call us so we would all response..he called us girls..maybe he should try the following : darlings, ladies, class..cos i think that's wat the teachers call us in sch..
for the uncle alvin part..=))) the two instructors were like asking if we got apply sun block..then the other noat de instructor said if u dun apply sun block u will age (as in ur looks lah) or sumthing like that..then he point to alvin : "like alvin like that..he is only 12..not 30 sumthing.."
then got one senior went..aiyo..i thought he 40 sumthing...then started calling him 阿伯..so i decided to call him uncle..=))
