but then Serene sms-ed me
and I just felt that I had to write it


Dear Best Friends (well yeah I have more than one of them),

Yes yes my dearest six other people of my life
We met when we were 13
Young, naive, small, maybe stupid (Haha)
This year marks the fifth year that we've known each other
Even though you guys have changed over the past years,
I still love you guys no matter what
Even though we do not meet as often as how I see other best friends will meet
your importance is so much more than anyone else who I meet more often (minus my family)

I feel a sense of security when I'm with you guys
like there isn't much things to be worried about
When I'm really stressed
I tend to want to find you guys to talk
Like maybe stick around you more often during my breaks
Like maybe asking you guys out more often
Even if I don't voice out my problems during these times
your presence alone removes all the tension in me.
I wonder if you guys have realised that

I amazed by how you guys can look through me
Like the other day when we finally gathered after a long time
you actually pointed out something that no one else realised
It's moments like this that really makes me feel
'Ah! These people are really my best friends'

I'm sorry if at times I grumble that you guys don't spend enough time with me
Cos I'm really an insecure person
and I like my friends to always be around me
Because I know that if they need me around any time
I'll be there
even if it means to cab down in the middle of the night just to fetch them home =D
So subconsciously, yes
I hope they can do the same too

Some times I think
whether you hold me as close to you
as I hold you as dear to me
But actually it doesn't matter right?
As long as I love you guys, I guess some how it'll reach you
and then you'll reciprocate with the same amount of love.

You guys probably fit the type of best friends I hope to have once in my entire lifetime
impromptu outings
stupid gossips during lessons
Sleepovers just because we want to swim
It sounds wrong but
it's probably something I can't do with my 7duohua
Because they're so organised
you need to ask them out beforehand
whereas you guys are more like me
living a relaxed lifestyle (too relaxed sometimes. Haha.)
